| EUROPE, April 24, 2008 – BenQ introduces the interactive, optical MD300 mouse, which fits perfectly in your hand thanks to the stylish, flat design. Compared with other USB mice, the MD300 offers additional functions including interactive sensor technology, instant notification of appointments and incoming messages as well as a dance mode. With its wide range of features, the BenQ MD300 mouse makes using the PC more fun.
Thanks to the innovative sensor technology, using the mouse is a whole new experience. When the user activates this function, they are in interactive contact with the BenQ MD300 whenever they move, press or lightly touch the mouse. The MD300 responds with red visual effects, vibration and sound to both mouse clicks and programme applications on the PC.
The software supplied enables the user to be notified of incoming e-mails or Skype messages – from selected contacts, for example. Contacts can be divided into two categories: ‘positive’ and ‘negative’. A different combination of visual effects, vibration and sound allows the user to tell whether they have received a message in their inbox, from either a desired or undesired sender. The MD300 also reminds the user of outlook appointments, even when the screensaver is active.
The attractive functions of the new model don’t end here, as the mouse also comes to life in dance mode. The BenQ MD300 moves rhythmically to music from Microsoft® Media Player. The accompanying software supports Skype 2.0+, Microsoft® Office Outlook 2003/2007 and Microsoft® Media Player 10.0+. Measuring only 95 x 64 x 27.8 mm, its slim dimensions mean it fits easily in your hand luggage.
