BenQ presents the two new MP623 and MP624 DLP® projectors which even outdo their MP622c and MP622 predecessors in terms of luminosity and contrast. The devices in black piano lacquer design are convincing thanks to an XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels, a contrast value of 2,500 : 1 and a brilliancy of 2,500 and 3,000 ANSI lumens, respectively. What’s more, the two projectors also offer extensive connection options such as a HDMI interface which guarantees an uncompromised visual experience with HD feed sources. The projectors are especially suitable for data and video presentations in medium-sized to large conference halls or classrooms.

With a low operating noise of 26 dB (A) in ECO mode, the devices are hardly perceptible during presentations as all elements down to the smallest detail have been developed in such a way as to achieve minimum noise development. Furthermore, a sophisticated ventilation system ensures an optimum device temperature which extends the service life of the lamp and permits the operating costs to be reduced.

The 5-segment colour wheel and integrated DLP BrilliantColor™ chipset ensure brilliant images. This ensures that the colours within the sRGB colour space are significantly more alive and true during high luminosity, especially in the case of blended colours (50 per cent and more). What’s more, the user can control red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow individually thanks to the independent colour management feature in order to coordinate colour nuances and saturation.

Both devices avail of a compact size, can be used flexibly thanks to their low weight of only 2.5 kg and offer helpful functions in the area of business: The wall colour correction feature, for example, means that special screens are not required. Up to six colours can be set on the device with the result that the projection is adapted in colour to the background giving rise to an image which is true to the original and without any tints. The fast cooling function means that after a presentation, the projector can be switched off and packed away immediately as it requires a mere 30 seconds to cool down.
